Dashboards

We have developed a methodology, a set of templates and a management system to support Corporate Board members and teams to have a coherent view of their businesses, including a Balanced Scorecard model.

We work with the assigned executives, defining and harmonizing the KPIs, while developing all needed routines to automate integrations with information sources and systems. Most of BI projects fail due to the poor information quality. We value information accuracy, ownership and a continuous improvement process.

Support and leadership of a consulting team within the Big Data Retail Project, which covered LATAM Southern Cone (Brazil and Argentina region), storing around +5Tb of Sales and Inventory Information.

Complexities/Opportunities: Retail segment with around 900.000 tickets/day, 215+ Business Metrics (KPIs), 800.000 SKUs, 100+ Shopping stores, using Teradata technology, ETL tools and Microstrategy (BI Analytics).
A pre-defined OLAP Cube containing four major dimensions (Time Period, Customers, Products and Metrics). This product makes the salesforce team able to verify their current sales position (currency and volume) within a particular week, month, etc against agreed targets.

Complexities/Opportunities: Usually 2-5 years of historical data, sales structure re-organizations (Territories merges or splits, etc), product hierarchy reviews and so on.
A Balanced Scorecard model used to implement a LATAM IT Strategy & Reporting tool, where every country should report their progress in a monthly basis. First level dimensions included: Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial and Infrastructure, in terms of Costs, Resourcing and Timing.

Complexities/Opportunities: LATAM Regional scope with different languages, time differences and distinct business priorities.
Using a gain-share model, we developed an Optimized Routing solution for the Great of Sao Paulo City. Using a GPS Tracking system (AutoTrac) and a Transportation Planning software (TransCAD) as inputs, we were able to calculate Optimal Shipment Routes every day.

Complexities/Opportunities: Door-to-door Sales channel, +10.000 tickets/day, short daily processing time window, critical path between clients, carriers and risk firms.
We developed an Integration Broker, using a central repository with a generic data architecture model and replacing all interfaces with a data transformation tool, triggered by business events. This solution became the single source of information for all BI Analytics.

Complexities/Opportunities: Hundreds of interfaces (Spaghetti Model), dozens of systems in different platforms, maintenance difficulties and poor information quality.
